About Stay&Pray

An Encounter with God. A Retreat for the Soul.

Stay&Pray is the annual ministry retreat of Soul Care Ministries, Inc., a sacred space dedicated to pure worship, biblical teaching, and Spirit-led inner healing. Since its humble beginnings in 2002, Stay&Pray has remained a refuge for believers seeking restoration, rest, and a deeper connection with God.

Birthed from the heart of Bishop Angela Bailey Page, Stay&Pray was created with one purpose in mind: to see believers whole, healed, and refreshed. Bishop Page, along with her husband Elder Douglas Page, opened the doors of their own home—specifically their great room—to gather servant leaders in faith. What began as a simple evening of dinner and heartfelt prayer quickly became a life-giving ministry. Those who tirelessly poured into others now had a sacred place to be poured into. Each time, the Holy Spirit met them with divine comfort, healing, and power. From these early gatherings, Soul Care Ministries was born.

Moved by the Spirit and led by faith, Bishop Page knew it was time to expand. She created a flyer, invited the people of God, and stepped out in obedience—hosting the first official Stay&Pray retreat at Haw River State Park in Guilford County, NC. Over 80 believers registered that year, and the presence of God moved mightily. Since then, Stay&Pray has become an annual event, serving hundreds of believers and new converts since its modest beginnings.

Each retreat is a sacred encounter—centered on worship, inspired teaching of biblical principles, and the gentle, yet powerful, ministry of inner healing. Whether you're a leader in ministry, a faithful servant, or simply weary from life’s demands, Stay&Pray offers what your soul needs most: time with God, restoration in His presence, and care for your whole being.

This isn’t just a retreat. It is a divine appointment.

Stay. Pray. Be healed. Be whole. Be renewed.
